Salvation Army ARC-Charlotte Store 7 in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full Time Regular Store Associate. The role pays $15.00 hourly and involves assisting customers, operating the cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include helping donors and customers, balancing cash, preparing receipts, and ensuring security of the cash area. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and retail experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Education and Experience: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred and experience working in a retail store preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Mansioni

• Assists store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Operates and maintains a cash register; collects monies, counts change, prepares receipts; balances the cash register drawer and prints routine register print-outs; prepares and delivers bank deposits.
• Responds to customer questions and assists customers who are donating items.
• Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays.
• Maintains the neatness and security of the cash register area; secures merchandise and the cash register.
• Cleans display racks and shelves; sweeps and mops floors; cleans windows, mirrors, and helps maintain overall cleanliness of store.
• Answers the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
