Job summary

Redner’s Markets, Inc. is seeking a Store Bookkeeper to safeguard store office security and oversee cash office funds. The role performs Front End clerical duties while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

You will complete daily cash and sales reports, manage deposits, verify tills, and enforce cash control policies. Additional duties include processing bank deposits, handling inter-store transfers, maintaining NSF records, and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete cash and sales reports daily and weekly recap; a deposit must be done after each shift.
• Verify tills for cashiers at the beginning and end of each shift, as well as during breaks and lunches.
• Prepare bank deposits and record data accurately, and verify all returned bank slips.
• Responsible for cash handling in the office area, keeping the safe locked when not used.
• Maintain and enforce the company shoplifting policy and emergency code system.
