Redner’s Markets, Inc. is seeking a Store Bookkeeper in the Front End department to manage cash office funds and front end clerical tasks while delivering top customer service. The role supports security, deposits, and financial reporting throughout daily operations.

You will handle cashier tills, process deposits, and coordinate with the main office on shortages and inventory controls, ensuring compliance with store policies and AML controls.

Formación

• Strong oral and written communication for interactions with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Strong analytical and math skills for conducting accurate audits.
• Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare daily cash and sales reports, weekly recap, and deposits.
• Report shortages over $50 to the main office.
• Check and order change for the store change fund.
• Prepare bank deposits and verify data and bank slips.
• Verify tills at start/end of shifts and during breaks.
• Prepare items for armored car service.
• Maintain cash handling in the office and keep the safe locked when not in use.
• Create the weekly Front End schedule aligned with the department budget.
• Maintain the emergency code system and Front End procedures.
• Perform master reset or master to sub master operations when needed.
• Manage Front End reports (check transmittals, WU terminal, lottery machine).
• Check and issue inter-store transfers as needed.
• Maintain NSF file and follow up on bad check procedures.
• Collaborate with department managers on Front End observations and safety walks.
• Maintain weekly void card variance checks.
• Comply with Patriot Act and Bank Secrecy Act for anti-money laundering program.
• Follow all Employee Handbook policies.
