A leading company is seeking a Store Associate to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with their needs, and maintain high standards in store presentation. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are also responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store appearance. The role involves providing excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.
Job duties include contact with customers, which may involve minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. To protect our business, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, and vendors, a review of criminal history is required.
The selected individual will be expected to work at stores within a 20-mile radius of Store #2582, located at 1240 Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, including:
Key responsibilities include ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent service, assisting customers both in person and over the phone, building trust with customers, processing sales accurately, achieving sales goals, maintaining work and inventory records, stocking shelves, preparing products, cleaning equipment, assisting with deliveries, maintaining store presentation, staying knowledgeable about products, and suggesting sales improvements.
