Job summary

The Rescue Mission Alliance seeks a Full Time Sales Associate, Key Holder to assist customers with merchandise, pricing, tagging, and display setup. You will support management in day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing and cash reconciliation when managers are unavailable.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, prior cash handling, and strong customer-service skills. The job requires standing for long periods and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

The Rescue Mission is seeking a Full Time Sales Associate, Key Holder. This position serves customers by displaying, promoting, sizing, pricing, and tagging merchandise. Assists store management with running an efficient and service oriented store. Promotes Rescue Mission while building relationships with customers. Provides customer service by greeting the customers with a smile and hello, providing information, and answering questions. Responsible for opening and closing procedures in the absence of store manager and/or assistant store manager. Responsible for cash reconciliation at the end of shifts in the absence of store manager and/or assistant store manager. Displays merchandise by stocking shelves, counters, racks and tables, as needed. Promotes sales by setting up displays, making announcements as directed by the supervisor and informing customers of the special sales. Obtains payments by processing cash, checks, sales discounts, and credit cards. Maintains the clean and orderly condition of the store. Contributes by displaying a team attitude. Creates a safe environment by complying with procedures and policies. Assists in identifying, reporting and solving issues to the store management.

Education Requirements

• High School diplomas or GED certificate
