Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring for a store associate in Meridian, MS. You will help customers find products and provide solutions, join a fast, friendly checkout, and enroll guests in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

You will also participate in BOPIS/SFS and keep the store well stocked and merchandised. The role requires standing and moving around the store, with responsibilities including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, handling merchandise returns, and following store SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast checkout with cash handling
• Explain and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and assist with merchandise recovery and returns
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
