The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance in locating items when needed.
3. Accurately performing cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies and procedures.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational, and staying updated on all services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth and development opportunities.
8. Embracing and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs to support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include remaining upright for extended periods, lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and visual acuity for activities like reading and inspecting small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service settings.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29

Time Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. The actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
