This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns, ensuring client satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high store standards. The role involves delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

The selected individual will work at Store #1798, located at: 5501 Bridgetown Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45248. This is a part-time position starting at $14.50/hour.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
2. Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products
3. Building trust with customers
4. Processing transactions accurately
5. Achieving sales goals
6. Maintaining work order files and pulling products
7. Mixing products to specifications
8. Stocking shelves and setting up displays
9. Cleaning equipment
10. Loading/unloading delivery trucks and assisting deliveries
11. Maintaining in-stock and presentable areas
12. Staying knowledgeable about products
13. Following inventory procedures
14. Suggesting sales improvements

Minimum qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year in retail or customer service
• Experience with paint and tinting equipment
• Multilingual abilities, including Spanish
