The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, customer-focused role, working independently and as part of a team to positively impact lives.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance in locating items.
3. Performing cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational, and remaining current with services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy staff when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities.
8. Embracing and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs aligned with our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and handle objects overhead as needed.
• Visual acuity for activities like reading, inspecting small parts, and viewing screens.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Time Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
