The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting in locating additional items when needed.
3. Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and staying updated on services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
8. Embracing and advocating for CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Physical requirements include remaining upright for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly for moving objects, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service settings.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 25

Time Type: Part-time

Pay Range:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
