Position: Assistant Store Manager

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  1. Partnering with the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations.
  2. Managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
  3. Providing coaching, training, and development to the Store Employees.
  4. Ensuring customer and donor needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is efficient.
  5. Communicating personnel issues with Management and issuing disciplinary actions as needed.
  6. Maintaining store standards and inventory levels.
  7. Overseeing Back Room Processing (BRP) in the absence of the Store Manager.
  8. Safeguarding cash and maintaining adequate change.
  9. Assisting in establishing safety measures and loss prevention.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to handle POS and cash transactions accurately.
  • Valid Driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Effective communication skills.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
  • Ability to move items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions.
Schedule

Stores operate 7 days a week. Flexibility is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure coverage.
