Immediate Supervisor: Store Manager

Position Objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain well-organized stores to support spiritual, social, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Meet sales and income targets while managing expenses for profitability.
  • Create a positive environment for ARC beneficiaries through collaboration with program staff.
  • Implement effective Work Therapy Assignments to keep beneficiaries focused and progressing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of retail management/supervisory experience (thrift experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Valid Driver's license, ability to pass MVR, show proof of insurance, and access to a vehicle
  • Background check clearance
  • Effective communication skills

Essential Duties
  1. Partner with the Store Manager in daily operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory, and donations.
  2. Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
  3. Monitor performance metrics to increase sales and profitability.
  4. Schedule staff, oversee payroll, and coordinate team meetings.
  5. Assist in hiring, training, and developing staff.
  6. Address personnel issues and performance evaluations.
  7. Ensure high customer and donor satisfaction and community relations.
  8. Support back room processing and warehouse operations.
  9. Supervise and report on program beneficiaries' work therapy.
  10. Secure store assets including cash, inventory, and property.
  11. Maintain safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.
  12. Perform other tasks as assigned and be adaptable to store needs.
