As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the store manager in managing store operations. Responsibilities include staff shift management, labor control, HR development, product ordering, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with store laws and regulations. You will also report store issues to the store manager and relevant instructors.

Essential Functions:

  • Improve customer service quality and relations, maintain cleanliness, and implement store policies
  • Recruit, train, and counsel staff; build effective work operations
  • Manage staff, ensure compliance with company rules, monitor working conditions and attitudes, and oversee shifts
  • Order inventory appropriately, manage sales areas to prevent stockouts, control losses, and oversee inventory
  • Execute and manage sales plans, organize merchandise, and manage replenishment
  • Achieve sales goals, monitor basket counts, manage loss prevention, and optimize inventory turnover
  • Manage cash register float and safe money
  • Organize forms, documents, manuals, files, and records
  • Manage store equipment and fixtures
  • Ensure store security, prevent theft, and maintain store interior and tidiness
  • Follow company guidelines for store management and operations

Education Requirements: High school Diploma/GED

Work Experience Requirements: 2+ years
