Job summary

Elder is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations, coach associates, and ensure excellent customer service. You will recruit, train, and develop staff, monitor performance, and assist with scheduling and payroll to meet labor standards.

Responsibilities include inventory management, receiving and merchandising, and daily store maintenance. Weekend/evening availability is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ retail experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Set a leadership example and promote Elder's mission, vision, values, and standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop associates; monitor performance and recommend changes.
• Coach associates to optimal performance and manage labor standards.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll to labor standards.
• Order and maintain inventory; manage shrink and keep stock available.
• Lead receiving and merchandising to display merchandise prominently.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and housekeeping as needed.
