POSITION: ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Store Manager in daily store operations.
  • Managing store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Coaching, training, and developing store employees.
  • Maintaining good relations with customers and donors, resolving complaints, and ensuring efficient service.
  • Communicating personnel issues with management, issuing disciplinary warnings, and conducting employee evaluations in coordination with HR and District Sales Manager.
  • Maintaining store standards, inventory levels, and overseeing Back Room Processing (BRP).
  • Safeguarding cash, managing banking procedures, and ensuring safety measures are followed.
  • Implementing loss prevention measures.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to handle POS/cash register operations accurately.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
SCHEDULE

Stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are determined by management; flexibility is required to ensure coverage. Full-time employees may work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
