Socket.dev in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Store Assistant Manager (full-time) to work with the Store Manager on all store operations and to guide a team of brand advocates in delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with the company's brand values.

You will partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability through strong customer engagement, merchandising, and compliance with standards, while also focusing on staff development and training for a motivated team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience developing staff through staffing, coaching, counseling.
• Ability to process information through POS system.

• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in hiring of qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Store Assistant Manager (F/T)

The Store Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the Store Manager on all store operations. The Store Assistant Manager plays a vital role in guiding, developing, and motivating a team of brand advocates to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company’s brand values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various store operations, including training, operations, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, cleaning duties when necessary, and customer service.
• Foster an environment of development and accountability.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
