Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit is seeking a Store Assistant Manager (Transportation) to supervise retail store and production personnel, clients, trainees, and volunteers, ensuring production standards and quotas are met.

You will lead stock rotation, display, inventory levels, and support store security and safety systems, contributing to sales performance within budgeted time constraints.

Job description

Store Assistant Manager (Transportation)

The Store Assistant Managerwill assist in supervising and training all retail store and production personnel, clients, trainees, and volunteers; and will check the quality and quantity of finished products to ensure production standards and quotas are met. Responsible for ensuring the retail production needs are met through effective leadership and planning within budgeted time constraints. Assist in ensuring maximum sales performance through proper stock rotation, display, signage, and inventory levels. Assisting in the appropriate operation of store security and safety systems, including but not limited to door, locks, alarms, office door, band deposits, refunds, safe, incident reports, and fire extinguishers.
