Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to help reduce shortages and protect assets across our stores. You will work with the General Manager to ensure policy compliance and monitor entrances and deliveries.

You will perform security checks, move actively throughout the store, greet customers, and support safety initiatives while delivering friendly, brand-aligned service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail loss prevention experience.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Stand/walk 8 hours and lift 20 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of retail or security policies.
• Communicate with all levels of staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction and investigations.
• Maintain the employee entrance area and track deliveries.
• Conduct store security checks and safety inspections.
• Provide a visible, courteous presence at entrance/exit.
• Greet customers as a Five Below associate.
