Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate in East Point, GA to help protect assets, monitor store activity, and support staff with security procedures while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires 1-2 years in retail loss prevention or related field, a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to stand for 8 hours, lift 20 lbs, and availability for nights and weekends. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure policy compliance and security checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience.
• Ability to work nights and weekends to retail business needs.
• Must be able to stand/walk the sales floor for 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.
• Regular time and attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• General understanding of Five Below policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction/Investigations.
• Work closely with the General Manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
• Responsible for maintaining the employee entrance, where applicable.
• Keep track of all packages delivered through the employee entrance, excluding normal scheduled shipments.
• Conduct store physical security checks and make recommendations to prevent loss.
• Perform figure 8's in store and stay mobile throughout the store.
• Provide a visual presence at the entrance/exit and greet customers.
• Conduct Safety Inspections and communicate hazards to store management.
