Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the AWS EC2 Nitro local storage team in Santa Clara, CA. You will help build high-scale storage solutions and own design, implementation, and operation of storage systems used by EC2 instances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience with server, storage, networking, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with device drivers, firmware management and understanding of IO technologies like NVMe are a big plus

Responsibilities

• Develop features in the Instance Storage data plane and solve technical problems at large scale.
• Own the design, implementation, and operation of a massive scale storage system.
• Work with an agile team that ships often and see the impact of your code on customers.
