Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Storage Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable storage platforms powering EDA, software engineering, and AI workflows. You will own multi-vendor deployments and build automation, pipelines, and integrations for a self-service storage experience.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in enterprise storage, strong IaC skills, and experience with CMDB and observability tools. This hybrid role offers competitive base pay and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise storage within large-scale production environments.
• Hands-on with three or more storage platforms: ONTAP, Pure, Cloudian, DDN.
• Strong IaC experience using Ansible, Terraform or equivalent.
• Proficient in Python or Go with reusable tooling focus.
• Experience integrating storage with CMDB and observability stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment across multiple storage platforms and vendors.
• Define configuration standards, baselines, and runbooks for all platforms.
• Build IaC frameworks to automate provisioning and lifecycle operations.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for storage config deployments.
• Develop integrations with CMDB, observability, and self-service portals.
• Manage day-2 operations: capacity, firmware lifecycle, performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored storage solutions.
• Promote GitOps practices with auditable changes.
