Job summary

Go Store It Self-Storage in Marietta, Georgia is looking for a full-time maintenance staff member. You will assist with customer inquiries and training, maintain the property, and ensure everything runs smoothly. The role offers 40 hours a week with flexible scheduling, health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and generous paid time off. No prior maintenance experience required; we provide training! A high school diploma and valid driver's license are necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and reliable means of transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Training new hires following training manual.
• Updating unit status.
• Adjusting rates.
• Handling customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth.

Education
