The Opportunity:

CCA is seeking a Storage Engineer (mid) to join our team supporting our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA/Arnold, MO. The role involves developing and maintaining agency-wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities across multiple security domains using Agile scrum methodologies. You will tailor solutions to client requirements, support multiple tenants, and deploy various application stacks and data services. Join us to make a meaningful impact at CACI.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support storage and backup platforms and management tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot storage systems and related technologies.
• Follow engineering standards and participate in technical reviews.
• Evaluate, deploy, manage, and integrate new technologies with team collaboration.
• Provide incident support, participate in on-call rotations during off hours and weekends.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as diagrams and run books.
• Proactively optimize systems and processes.
• Oversee installation of storage hardware/software and updates for security and functionality.
• Monitor systems, review capacity, performance, and utilization metrics.
• Stay current with storage and backup technology developments to advise on future directions.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BS degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for POLY.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp and other storage technologies.
• Experience with SAN, NAS, iSCSI, capacity planning, performance tuning, data migrations, and replication technologies.
• Senior-level experience in large-scale system design, development, and maintenance across multiple hardware platforms and data centers.
• Understanding of high availability concepts and hardware fundamentals like disks, CPU, NIC, RAID, and performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and security best practices, including federal standards (FISMA, STIG).
• Proficiency in written and oral communication; CompTIA Security+ or similar certification.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a team environment.

Desired:

• NetApp Certification, PowerShell/Python scripting experience.
• Experience with scripts for auditing and configuration enforcement.
• AWS / C2S experience.

Pay Range: The salary depends on factors like location, experience, skills, and certifications. The proposed range is $89,500-$188,000. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off. Learn more here.
