Job summary

Bespoke Technologies in Herndon, VA seeks an experienced IT infrastructure specialist with an active Poly clearance to support SAN storage, Hitachi storage, Cisco networking, and VMware in a security-focused environment. The role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with emphasis on monitoring, patching, and coordinating with the ISSE on security concerns.

The successful candidate will configure Hitachi HiCommand, manage Hitachi Array hardware, create Cisco SAN

Qualifications

• Active Poly clearance required.
• Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) including zoning and host groups.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi Storage and Hitachi HiCommand software.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches and Fibre Channel SAN administration.
• Experience with Brocade and/or NetApp storage; EMC storage is translatable.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience monitoring, patching, and coordinating with an ISSE on security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Support SAN storage environments including zoning, host groups, and fabric creation.
• Install, configure, and maintain Hitachi storage systems and HiCommand software.
• Manage Cisco SAN fabrics, ISLs, and MDS9000 hardware.
• Maintain dual active paths to servers and storage arrays; troubleshoot with ISSE as needed.
• Work independently or in a team to ensure secure, available infrastructure.

Introduction
The Sponsor is primarily responsible for providing enterprise leading hosting and storage services to customers needing efficient and scalable solutions to meet their needs. In support of these services, the Sponsor requires support for hardware maintenance, hardware troubleshooting, and providing O&M. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) to include zoning and host groups.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi Storage.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches.
• Demonstrated experience with Brocade and/or NetApp storage (EMC storage is translatable).
• Demonstrated experience with VMWare.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring, patching, and working with an ISSE to address security concerns.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi HiCommand Software to include installation and configuration.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi Array Hardware maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience as a Cisco Fiber Channel SAN Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience creating Cisco SAN fabrics and setting up/managing Cisco ISLs.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco DCMN software and MDS9000 series hardware.
• Demonstrated experience being able to determine and identify dual active paths to and from all servers and storage arrays.
• Demonstrated experience working independently from a team.
