Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Storage Customer Service Representative in Burlington, NJ to be the face of our service, assist customers with storage units, explain rental terms, and dispatch equipment using current technology. The role supports the site manager and offers on-the-job education.

You must have a valid driver’s license and be available weekends/holidays. The position includes benefits, a pay range of $15.92–$17 hourly, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills with customers.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain rental terms and prepare rental contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
• Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure and ready for new customers.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
