Job summary

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with Dell EMC platforms and replication technologies (SRDF/STAR), plus hands-on experience with Unisphere, SYMCLI, and Fibre Channel networking.

Qualifications

Storage Architect

Location: Dallas, Tampa or Jersey - Hybird

An Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for providing technical support across Enterprise Infrastructure. This role supports key project driven initiatives, as well as operational tasks to maintain the integrity of infrastructure environment. As an Infrastructure Services Engineer, one will be responsible for providing technical leadership across a distributed virtualized environment. The candidate will support key project driven initiatives, as well as operational tasks to maintain the integrity of a distributed virtualized environment.

*Must have working knowledge of SRDF/STAR replication technologies.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement, and support new technologies within the infrastructure environment.
• Assists key projects and deliverables related to the infrastructure environment.
• Maintain stability of the infrastructure environment.
• Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of system maintenance, release updates, upgrades, and/or new technology deployments adhering to companys standard change management protocol.
• Effectively complete complex projects and installations within aggressive time frames and budget parameters.
• Develop and produce timely metrics based on the required management platforms.
• Execute performance and statistical monitoring to develop procedures and best practices which improve overall environment.
• Perform comprehensive Evaluation of new feature or product technologies resulting in insightful analysis and recommendation
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Talents Needed for Success:

• Must have working knowledge of the Dell/EMC VMAX, PowerMax, Unity, VNX and VNXe platforms.
• Must have working knowledge of SRDF/STAR replication technologies.
• Must have working knowledge of Unisphere and SYMCLI.
• Must have working knowledge of Brocade and Cisco fibrechannel switches.
• Must have working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Must have some Ansible or REST API experience.
