Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Storage Administrator for a 6-month contract to hire in the Alexandria, VA area. The role requires 3-5+ years of storage administration experience across SAN, NAS, and DAS, with hands-on NetApp and Dell EMC expertise. A TS/SCI clearance is required or ability to obtain one; sponsorship is unavailable.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience administering enterprise storage environments.
• Experience with SAN, NAS, and DAS storage technologies.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp and Dell EMC.
• Knowledge of Fiber Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, and object storage protocols.
• Experience configuring and managing storage provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Experience with storage monitoring and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or Nutanix.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery technologies (Veeam, Rubrik, and NetBackup).
