Job summary

Surface Experts of Northeast Philadelphia is seeking a skilled Surface Technician to join our fast-growing San Diego team. You will perform spot repairs on countertops, cabinets, floors, tubs, tile and appliances, using your hands and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in construction or crafts, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in construction, art, manufacturing, or hobbies.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to work autonomously.
• Interest in growing with a new business and possibly into a leadership role.
• Willingness to commit to at least a 2-year tenure.

We are a fast-growing local San Diego company that focuses on spot repairs to a wide-variety of interior surfaces - countertops, cabinets, floors, tubs, tile, sinks, appliances and more. We are looking for someone who has experience working with stone masonry or countertops. They must be familiar with natural stones as well as synthetic materials such as quartz. Our work requires an attention to detail especially since most jobs are small in scale.

Stone Workers And Countertop Technicians Have Great Skills That Transfer Well To Our Field Repair Technician Role!

Skills, Experience And Characteristics We Are Looking For Include:

• Experience working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, artistic endeavors, manufacturing or even a hobby
• Having experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful
• It is helpful, but not necessary to have an Art background. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind then this is not the job for you.
• Experience working directly with customers. You should be highly customer-service oriented, and comfortable working autonomously to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Interest in growing with a new business and possibly growing into a leadership role
• The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment

Full-time Pay: $22.00- $26.00 per hour plus bonuses and commissions
