Job summary

ABC Worldwide Stone in Hicksville, NY is seeking an experienced Material Handler I to join our warehouse team. You will load and unload slabs and crates, operate forklifts and hoists, and move materials between trucks and storage areas.

Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, checking outbound shipments for accuracy, restocking inventory, maintaining clean, safe work areas, and following Safety Program guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year general work experience.
• Forklift experience with certificate preferred.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads material using handling equipment.
• Moves slabs and crates with forklift or hoists.
• Picks/assembles customer orders and checks outbound orders for accuracy.
• Restocks and labels vendor products, maintains displays.
• Performs receiving duties and communicates damaged shipments for claims.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
