Job summary

Interior-Specialists,-Inc is seeking a Material Handler to safely move, store, and manage stone slabs and related products in the Auburn, WA warehouse. You will support production and delivery teams while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of material handling experience, forklift or crane operation, and basic computer skills for inventory entries. The pay rate is $23–$24 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience moving, storing, and handling stone slabs, remnants, or large-format materials required.
• Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, A-frame dollies, and material handling tools.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and safely maneuver heavy materials.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport slabs, remnants, and other materials using forklifts, slab handlers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials in accordance with company standards and product-handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage materials for production, fabrication, or delivery to installation teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and material audits.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage to high-value and fragile products.
• Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and equipment operation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse, fabrication, and logistics teams to support efficient material flow and project deadlines.
