ABC Stone in Hicksville, NY is seeking an experienced Materials Handler to join our warehouse team. You will load and unload material, operate forklifts and other handling equipment, and move stone slabs and crates to fulfill customer orders.

Qualified candidates have 0–1 year of general work experience, basic math skills, and a safety-focused mindset. Forklift certification is preferred; teamwork and attention to detail are essential for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year general work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works under close direction of Warehouse Supervisor.
• Move stone slabs & crates using forklift, hoists or other handling equipment.
• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Restock and label vendor products; maintain displays; move and replenish material.
• Receive and unload inbound material; process inbound shipments; stock material.
• Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility; sweep and trash removal.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules.
• Offload and reload the photo station with materials; rotation participation.
• Perform other related duties as required.
