Job summary

Construction Resources is seeking a Material Handler to safely load, unload, and move tile and stone materials within a fast-paced warehouse in New York. You will operate forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support safe, organized operations.

Responsibilities include handling large, high-value materials with care, conducting cycle counts, and collaborating with the team to optimize flow. Requires a minimum of 2 years in material handling and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of material handling experience in a warehouse environment.
• Safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift/move heavy products in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, transport, and stage tile, stone slabs, and related materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Operate forklifts with precision to prevent damage and maintain safety.
• Inspect materials for damage and verify quality before handling or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and locations; assist with cycle counts.
• Collaborate with inventory control to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse remains clean, organized and safe.
• Support layout optimization to improve material flow.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and report safety concerns promptly.
