Job summary

Kalven Group Of LLC is seeking a skilled fabrication supervisor with 5+ years in stone fabrication and 3+ years in leadership. The role requires hands-on CNC experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with Excel/Sheets and shop software.

You will train staff, enforce SOPs, and drive waste reduction while delivering quality finishes. The position is on-site in Monroe, NC, with opportunities to lead a small team in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in stone, granite, quartz, or solid-surface fabrication, or closely related manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Hands-on CNC and stone fabrication equipment experience, including reading CNC job files and shop drawings.
• Proven record of reducing cost and waste, with numbers to back it up.
• Strong math skills (square footage, yield and scrap percentages, labor cost, basic budgeting).
• Experience training employees and working with SOPs.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, especially silica.
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets and shop management software.
• Highly organized and effective both leading a team and working independently.

PREFERRED

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or operations
• Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S training
• Slab layout/nesting software and digital templating experience
• ERP or production tracking system experience
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese
