Job summary

Buechel Stone Corp is seeking a creative Stone Design Consultant to work with clients, architects, interior designers, and builders to select natural stone for luxury spaces. You will present materials, guide design decisions, and coordinate with a team to deliver exquisite indoor and outdoor stone features.

You will engage in design center activities, host events, and travel to meet clients while staying current with trends in color, texture, and pattern coordination.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients to the design center.
• Assist clients with product selections in-person and via virtual consultations.
• Provide timely and follow-up with clients.
• Network with architects, designers, and home builders to visit the design center.
• Promote the design center by visiting offices and coordinating visits.
• Plan and host quarterly events to promote the Design Center.
• Collaborate with Sales on selection processes and opportunities.
• Track client activity in CRM.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the design center.
• Promote the Buechel brand on social media.
• Follow Client Interaction Process to ensure customer delight.
• Provide territory support for inbound inquiries.
• Work on special projects as needed.

As a Stone Design Consultant, your primary role will be to work closely with clients, architects, interior designers, and builders to bring their visions to life. You'll be responsible for recommending and coordinating the selection of our various natural stone materials to create stunning indoor and outdoor spaces.

To excel in this role, you'll need to develop a solid understanding of different stone types, their properties, and how they can be best utilized to elevate the overall aesthetic appeal of a space. You should be able to guide clients in selecting the right stones for their projects based on their preferences, budget, and functional requirements.

In addition, you'll need to be well-versed in the latest design trends, as your recommendations should be in line with the evolving tastes and preferences of our discerning clientele. Your knowledge of color theory, texture, and pattern coordination will be invaluable in creating harmonious and visually striking designs.

As a Stone Design Consultant, you'll be the face of our company, representing us in client meetings, trade shows, and various events. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to building trust and rapport with clients and industry professionals alike. You'll need to actively listen to clients' needs, provide expert advice, and address any concerns or queries they may have.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Welcome all clients to the design center
• Assist clients with product selections, both in-person and via virtual consultations
• Provide timely and appropriate follow-up with clients after their selections
• Network with and invite architects, designers, and home builders to visit the design center
• Proactively visit architect, designer, and custom home builder offices to bring awareness of our design center showroom as well as accommodate their availability for making stone selections
• Plan and host quarterly events to promote the Design Center to current and potential clients
• Collaborate with Sales by assisting with the selection process and looping them in on qualified opportunities ready to move forward with purchase
• Track all client activity and collaborate with Sales in our CRM
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of Design Center, including opening and closing duties
• Use design center social media accounts to promote the Buechel brand and generate interest in the design center.
• Follow Buechel Stone's Client Interaction Process to ensure all customers are delighted
• Provide territory support by assisting with inbound inquiries in need of stone selection assistance
• Work on special projects as needed
