Job summary

Lumbermen’s Inc. in Byron Center, Michigan, seeks a Stone Fabrication/CNC Operator for the 3rd shift. You’ll fabricate quartz, granite, and other hard surfaces, layout materials, and operate CNC, Saw, and Waterjet equipment.

Responsibilities include building countertops to specs, quality checks, and labeling for shipment. We value safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic; an ESOP and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior CNC experience is a plus.
• Hilo license (will train if needed).
• Prior fabrication or construction experience desired.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Layout and optimize materials for countertops.
• Measure and cut materials with state-of-the-art Saw/Waterjet/CNC machines and polishers.
• Build countertops to customer specifications.
• Quality inspection and staging of materials for shipment or installation.
• Locate and run job programs on CNC machines; ensure timely, high-quality output.
