Job summary

Stone Brewing in San Diego is seeking a Seasonal Event Server to provide friendly, responsive service and support banquet events during the fall/winter season. You will coordinate with the beverage team and kitchen to ensure timely presentation and delivery of food and beverages.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a busy restaurant, POS proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; availability nights, weekends and holidays, and reliable transportation are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Proficiency with Point-of-Sale systems.
• San Diego County Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute banquet events according to orders, completing all tasks.
• Assign opening and closing duties to servers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for buffet replenishment and timing.
• Maintain and store event equipment and supplies.
• Responsible for rental equipment at the end of events.
• Welcome and greet guests, ensuring comfort and attendance.
• Set up and tear down banquet areas and arrange spaces.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly from kitchen and bar.
• Pour and refill beverages responsibly.
• Other duties as assigned.

They ensure efficient banquet service operations, working closely with the beverage team and kitchen to coordinate food and beverage presentation and delivery times.
