Job summary

Prinsco is seeking a dependable Yard Worker in Stockton, CA to join a safety-focused team. You will load and unload products, organize yard inventory, and operate equipment safely while supporting drivers and customers with a respectful, professional attitude.

The role offers cross-training opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives in a stable manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED and physical ability to perform the duties are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 months of work experience.
• Effective communication to follow written or spoken instructions.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Forklift experience preferred with potential certification.
• Lift up to 25 lbs consistently; up to 50 lbs part of the day; 75 lbs less than 1/3 of the day.
• Stand, walk, climb, balance for most of the day.
• Vision: depth, color, distance.
• Work in non-temperature controlled outdoor environments and loud settings.

Qualifications: Qualifications

• Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


• Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.


• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.


• Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.


• Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday.


• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.


• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.


• Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
