Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Stock Associate to receive shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and keep the stockroom organized across off-site locations.

You will assist the sales team by replenishing stock on the floor and ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and logged for distribution. The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom (or related work) experience.
• Basic product knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on appropriate shelves or in offsite locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, packaged and logged.
• Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries.
• Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure stockroom is clean and organized.
• May assist on sales floor during peak times.
• Complete tasks listed on daily agenda.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure stockroom procedures minimize loss.
