Job summary

WaterSaver Faucet Co. in Chicago, IL, is hiring a Stockroom Attendant II for our Shipping/Receiving team. On-site role includes issuing tools and materials, monitoring inventory, and maintaining accurate withdrawal/return records to support kanban and material flow on the shop floor.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with basic math, RF scanners, and familiarity with Guardian Equipment parts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow basic written instructions, visual flow charts, or simple diagrams.
• Basic mathematical proficiency for inventory counting and simple measurement verification.
• Foundational computer literacy to navigate tracking applications or use RF scanners.
• Familiarity with Guardian Equipment products and parts relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials and supplies.
• Move materials to proper departments or queue areas for delivery.
• Issue tools, parts, materials, and supplies per requisitions.
• Monitor inventory levels; maintain accurate withdrawal/return records.
• Check returned items for damage or repair needs; arrange maintenance as needed.
• Operate order picker, standup forklift, hoists, and related equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom area.
• Adhere to safety policies; consistently use PPE.
