The Exchange in Fort Drum, NY is seeking a Stockroom Operations Manager to direct stockroom activities, oversee shipping/receiving, and help establish financial goals to maximize sales, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory.

The role requires supervising, training, hiring, and scheduling associates, while driving customer service excellence and maintaining equipment and supplies onsite. Onsite work with extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory or specialized retail experience within last five years.
• Or successful completion of Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.
• Willingness to work extended hours and varying schedules as needed.

UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER, MANAGES AND DIRECTS STOCKROOM OPERATIONS DEALING WITH SHIPPING, RECEIVING, STOCKING, RETURNING/WRITE-OFF/DISPOSAL OF DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE GOODS. TRANSFER OF GOODS TO OTHER FACILITIES, HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES, MAINTAINING OPERATIONAL VEHICLES AND ORDERING EXPENSE SUPPLIES. ASSISTS IN ESTABLISHING FINANCIAL GOALS TO MAXIMIZE SALES, PROFIT, SSR, PRODUCTIVITY, TURNS AND INVENTORY. SUPERVISES, TRAINS, DEVELOPS, HIRES AND SCHEDULES ASSOCIATES FOR CURRENT POSITIONS AND FUTURE GROWTH. EVALUATES AND ENHANCES CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

Salary Minimum

$45,142.00

Major Duties

Manages financial and operational goals.

Supervises, trains, develops, hires and schedules associates for current positions and future growth.
Assists in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory.
Performs other duties as assigned.
