Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to support the stockroom and production teams at our Hauppauge, NY site. The role involves pulling and stocking materials to meet production needs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and performing cycle counts while operating under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ years of related work experience, and be comfortable with basic mathematics. Proficiency in English and basic Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ related work experience.
• Proficient in English comprehension and expression; including reading and writing.
• Must possess basic mathematical reasoning abilities.
• Able to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders and walk/stand for multiple hours each day.
• Basic Excel knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels throughout production cycles.
• Pull inventory to satisfy production needs.
• Perform cycle counting to review stock levels.
• Work under close to moderate supervision with limited independent judgment.
• Stock incoming material from suppliers.
• Deliver material to work centers.
