Job summary

SynQor is seeking a Stockroom Associate to accurately pick and relieve parts from inventory, stage materials for jobs, and assist with cycle counting in a electronics manufacturing environment.

You will work with FIFO methods, communicate shortages to Purchasing, support shipping and receiving, and help reorganize warehouse spaces while learning in-house inventory systems.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous stockroom experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic component part numbers preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Raw Materials Warehouse Locations.
  • Issue, return, and receive materials to and from the stockroom to and from various departments.
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Follow FIFO guidelines when pulling and putting away material.
  • Document and communicate material shortages to the Purchasing team, including pulling reports and lists of needed components.
  • Assist shipping, receiving, and others as directed.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and organization within the stockroom.
  • Work on special projects that require moving, building racks and reorganizing material in warehouse locations.
  • Using the x-ray machine to count component reels.
  • Assist manufacturing operations by consolidating materials in preparation for build schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Stockroom Associate's primary responsibilities are accurately picking and relieving parts from inventory for all jobs, as well as staging materials for these jobs, while assisting with cycle counting and storage of inventory. The Stockroom Associate is responsible for specialized stockroom tasks in the electronics manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Raw Materials Warehouse Locations

  • Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Follow FIFO guidelines when pulling and putting away material.

Education and Experience
  • High school degree or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous stockroom experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic component(s) part numbers, specifically manufacturer part numbers is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Material Requirement Planning systems(“MRP”) such as Oracle or SAP is preferred.
Required Skills
  • Able to lift at least 30lbs and climb ladders.
  • Basic computer skills required, advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Basic arithmetic skills without assistance from a calculator.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to solve problems in partnership with supervisor.
  • Good communication skills and intermediate English proficiency.
  • Willingness to learn in-house inventory systems and collaborate with other manufacturing support teams.
