McCain, Inc. is seeking a Stockroom Clerk for our Otay Mesa facility in San Diego, CA. You will handle receiving, shipping, material handling and inventory control to support manufacturing operations.

The role involves cycle counts, maintaining bin locations, and exporting materials to Mexico, with standard warehouse duties and safety considerations. Strong English communication and physical ability to lift 40–60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stockroom environment.
• Knowledge of electronic components used in PCB manufacturing is helpful.
• Experience with Great Plains or similar automated inventory control system.
• Inventory reconciliation skills desired but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 40–60 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

We are looking for a Stockroom Clerk to join our team at our new manufacturing facility located in Otay Mesa - San Diego, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company as we expand our operations. In this role, you will perform various stockroom duties – receiving, shipping, material handling and inventory controls.

Duties / Responsibilities

1. Pull material via kit pulls, material requests as directed.
2. Participate in cycle counts.
3. Maintain stocking bin locations.
4. Perform minimal inventory control transactions as required.
5. Maintain import/export Excel spreadsheets and packing lists.
6. Package materials for export to Mexico.
7. Perform Shipping / Receiving function.
8. Material handling functions as required.

Requirements

1. Experience in a stockroom environment desired.
2. Knowledge of electronic components and other electronic parts used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards is helpful but not required.
3. Experience with Great Plains or similar automated inventory control system.

Physical Conditions / Requirements

• Primarily works in a controlled indoor environment, with exposure to temperature variations and warehouse conditions.
• Occasional – Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
• Job frequently requires walking, standing and handling objects.
• Job occasionally requires kneeling, stooping, forward bending, reaching, and talking. Some occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Hearing requirements: Ability to hear people over the telephone and in person; hear noises in surrounding areas, i.e., forklifts in the warehouse for safety purposes. Ability to tolerate loud noises from various manufacturing machines.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
