Job description

STOCKROOM ATTENDANT LEAD - ATHLETICS DINING PROGRAM

Join UW Medicine as a Stockroom Attendant Lead supporting the Athletics Dining Program. This full-time, mid-senior level position involves managing high-volume stockroom operations for the Don James Center Training Table and Athletics Production Kitchen, providing nutritionally optimal meals for UW athletes and teams.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Receiving, issuing, storing, and inventorying supplies in accordance with policies.
  2. Monitoring stock movement, coordinating orders, and managing inventory assets.
  3. Acting as the primary contact for vendors and delivery personnel.
  4. Supervising student employees and food service workers in stock handling.
  5. Maintaining compliance with safety and food handling standards.
  6. Using CBORD FSS system for data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
  7. Performing physical tasks such as lifting and working in hot/cold environments.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in retail, shipping/receiving, warehouse work, or as a Stockroom Attendant II.
Conditions of Employment:
  • Successful background check and education verification.
  • Washington State Food Worker's Card within two weeks of hire.
  • Valid Washington Driver's License.
