Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory support for operating rooms and cross-train at other surgical centers.
• Place orders and forecast future needs based on usage and product levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate stock replenishment when needed.
• Reconcile discrepancies between orders and received inventory.
• Manage incoming deliveries and ensure proper stock rotation and expiration date review.

Our client, Michigan Medicine, is seeking a Stockkeeper to join their team. As a Stockkeeper, you will besupporting hospital supply management and inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (occasional Saturday work may be required)

What's the Job?

• Provide inventory support for hospital Operating Rooms and cross-train at other surgical centers
• Place orders and forecast future needs based on usage and established product levels
• Monitor inventory levels and electronically initiate stock replenishment when needed
• Reconcile discrepancies between orders and received inventory
• Manage incoming deliveries, distribute supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation and expiration date review

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience managing inventory or stock in a healthcare or similar setting
• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for extended periods, moving supplies, and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Proficiency in Excel, inventory, and database software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities
