Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Cincinnati is seeking a Part-time Stocking Specialist to ensure shelves, cooler, back office and freezer are stocked and organized. Typical schedule is 10-20 hours per week and shifts may be assigned as needed.

You will stock merchandise, rotate stock, check dates, maintain ice cream displays, stock the cooler, assist in fresh foods, and keep the back office organized while helping keep the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• A strong work ethic.
• The strength to lift up to 21 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise, rotate stock, and check code dates.
• Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with in-store merchandise.
• Stock the cooler for beverages and refrigerated items.
• May prep and stock fresh food items.
• Stock ice cream on the sales floor and in the freezer.
• Organize and restock the back office; keep a tidy back room.
• Assist with maintaining store and lot safety and cleanliness, including temperatures.

Job description

Responsible for stocking merchandise throughout the store including the sales floor, cooler, back office and freezer. Stocking Specialists are part-time associates and typically scheduled for 10-20 hours per week and may be assigned to any shift.

Responsibilities

• Stocking merchandise, properly rotating stock and checking code dates
• Sales Floor - Ensuring the sales floor is completely stocked of in-store merchandise
• Cooler - stocking the cooler for beverages, and refrigerated items
• Fresh food - May prep and stock fresh food items
• Ice Cream – Responsible for stocking ice cream on the sales floor as well as stocking / organizing ice cream in the freezer
• Back Office – Responsible for organizing, stocking and re-stocking the back-office area with a focus on having a well organized and orderly back room
• This role may also help with maintaining property, including keeping the store and lot in a safe, clean and organized condition, cleaning store equipment and monitoring product and refrigeration equipment temperatures
