Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Stocking Specialist to stock merchandise across the sales floor, cooler, freezer, and back office. Typical schedule is 10–20 hours per week.

You will rotate stock, check date codes, keep shelves full, stock beverages and ice cream, assist with fresh foods, and help maintain a clean, organized store and back room. Safety and temperature checks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• A strong work ethic.
• The strength to lift up to 21 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock store merchandise across sales floor, cooler, back office and freezer.
• Rotate stock and check expiration dates on items.
• Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with in-store merchandise.
• Stock beverages in the cooler and refrigerated items.
• Assist with prep and stocking of fresh food items.
• Stock and organize ice cream on the floor and in the freezer.
• Organize and restock the back-office area for a clean, orderly space.
• Help maintain store and lot cleanliness and monitor equipment temperatures.

Job description

Responsible for stocking merchandise throughout the store including the sales floor, cooler, back office and freezer. Stocking Specialists are part-time associates and typically scheduled for 10-20 hours per week and may be assigned to any shift.

Responsibilities

• Stocking merchandise, properly rotating stock and checking code dates
• Sales Floor - Ensuring the sales floor is completely stocked of in-store merchandise
• Cooler - stocking the cooler for beverages, and refrigerated items
• Fresh food - May prep and stock fresh food items
• Ice Cream – Responsible for stocking ice cream on the sales floor as well as stocking / organizing ice cream in the freezer
• Back Office – Responsible for organizing, stocking and re-stocking the back-office area with a focus on having a well organized and orderly back room
• This role may also help with maintaining property, including keeping the store and lot in a safe, clean and organized condition, cleaning store equipment and monitoring product and refrigeration equipment temperatures
