Meijer is looking for a stock associate to efficiently stock and organize grocery items, accurately placing products on shelves and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role supports leadership in completing assigned areas on time, with potential overnight shifts to prep the store for the day ahead. The position emphasizes teamwork, using basic technology, and a physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic technology and processes.
• Organized and efficient in daily tasks.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Capable of performing physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
