Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and ready for customers. You will handle stock replenishment, back-room organization, and cooperate with store leadership to complete daily tasks efficiently.

You’ll be part of a team focused on a friendly customer experience, safety, and accuracy in product placement, with opportunities to grow within a family-oriented retailer.

Qualifications

• Basics of operating store tech and equipment.
• Ability to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelves efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer interactions when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
