Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. This entry-level role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and efficient merchandising across the store.

You will stock shelves, move products, manage back-room backstock, and support leadership to keep operations running smoothly, including overnight shifts to prepare for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
